I've not tried it yet, but I was about to try it in conection with something I was working on. How about the attached? Cell E3 should be ' =B3+C3/60+D3/3600 '.
Sorry about using 30 minutes and 36 seconds for the example. I wanted to be able to check it worked easily. Then from colunms F to J, I went backwards from d.d to dms.
G3 is ' =INT(F3) '.
H3 is ' =60*(F3-INT(F3)) '.
I3 is ' =INT(H3) '.
J3 is ' =(H3-I3)*60 '.
Gota keep the old grey cells moving.
Anyone with a bit more confidence in Excel ought to be able to tidy up columns F to J somewhat. Lets hope my spreadsheet transfers. DaveP
