The online form to replace an airman's certificate, https://www.faa.gov/documentLibrary/media/Form/AC8060-56.pdf, shows that one can, at a minimum, replace a lost Flight Navigator certificate...

I'm aware of at least one NavList member who has been through the process and received the FAA Flight Navigator certification (US) within the past two years. It includes some celestial navigation. But is this obsolescent even as we speak? A few years ago, the FAA website included the pdf of the manual for this process, but recently it seems to have been removed from those primary resources. There are still copies available from resellers and internet archives (see attached 73MB pdf), but is there still official support?
