Not at all. I am just seeking to understand what the software is reporting to me.
I will be at a sailing camp for teenagers in March, and the island from which we will be working has a poorly charted reef a mile offshore, seemingly in the middle of nowhere. But indications are that a sailboat with a 2 meter keel could run aground at low tide.
I am thinking that, if we get a day with no wind, I may take a group of students out with me, and we can do a careful survey of that tiny piece of the ocean.
Understanding my phone's GPS helps me understand the accuracy we can aspire to.
