Photo taken at about 1830 UT at lat 41S. The tree on the right masks a street light. Is the dot Canopus (Hc 51° Zn 233°)? I went outside again at 1900 UT, cloud was forming and the red sky was gone.
At 1830 UT the sky was clear and there was no wind. It was an excellent night for star watching.
