Ghost Ring vs. Sight Tube

For navigators that wear glasses the ghost ring on a sextant will offer more clearance and horizon field of view over a sight tube. It comes at the expense of a little more glare but may be worth it when in big swells on a small craft. Also an excellent option when taking horizontal sextant angle observations.
