For some this will be stating the obvious, but NavList members have an extremely broad range of math backgrounds... so I'll say it anyway. What Jaap vd Heide has demonstrated here is that this is among the worst possible approaches for clearing a lunar. Yes, it can be done. It can be done in the same sense that an elephant can be made to glow in the dark by splicing its DNA. It can be done as a demonstration of crazy things that we can do, but it serves no purpose (and it makes it hard for the elephant to get a good night's sleep).
