I am interested in graphical methods for LOP reduction (sine/cosine and your Hv)and also lunar clearance. (Kelly method from 1796!, see attachment.)
I could not find your earlier posts on this and wonder if you could point me in the right direction?
Detailed, step by step explanation for the non mathematician would be appreciated!
The maths behind the Kelly method for lunars is not explained, so again, if you are able to enlighten me, many thanks in advance.
Meanwhile, I am experimenting with a bigger version of the Brown-Nassau graphic slide rule to see if I can improve the accuracy.(details to follow later)
