In the Bay Area, California, Jupiter and Saturn set early. I have hills to the southwest near my home so my opportunity was brief. We had a "spare the air" alert so some haze, and there were clouds about.
I managed a few shots around 1730h PST, but was then defeated by an errant cloud. I may try again tonight though we are past the best.
