A passing note, personal experience, possibly not applicable to others.When I was shooting rifles at long range, 600 and 1000 yared, I did not do appreciably better with a Unertle 10 power Target Scope than I did with Redfield Reveiver Sights (Iron Sight, no glass), and a front apature. I also did fairly well with a 30-06 Garand, large rear apature, and post front (issue size, not Match).
