Hi, my name is Jean Villemagne from Québec Canada. As Frank Reed stated in a recent post, I’ve joined the Navlist as a new member and complete HO-229 abridgment files set that I would like to share with you. Instructions are provided for these files to be easily printed into standalone booklets. I will like to thank M Reed as a Navlist administrator for his support by providing a free access to these files so every body interested by keeping wayfinding tradition alive could have a copy of their own.
As many of you already know, these files are related to Hewitt Schlereth original 1983 “sight reduction tables for small boat navigation”. Hewitt Abridgment genuine proposal is now extended to the entire HO-229 6 volumes classic edition. Together, they do provide sight reduction precomputed solutions for all stars and planets with no declination or globe area restrictions. If you have any questions about them, just contact me.
Enjoy by keeping rollicking Randy Dandy-O
