Today is Thanksgiving in the United States. I would like to say thank you for all of our contributors globally today. This community remains the best source of information and expertise in the subject of celestial navigation and other forms of traditional wayfinding anywhere in the world. Remember that. Take pride in that.
Also, I should emphasize today that the NavList community and this website have been created by the contributions of our members and visitors over the course of many years. This site and service are not mine or my creation, except, of course, my individual messages and content on navigation and, separately, the work that I do to keep the site running and servicing content to the wider world of navigators and navigation enthusiasts. This content is yours, and your messages remain explicitly protected by your own copyright when you contribute here, unlike so much of the internet. NavList is not mine. It is yours.
Thanks, everyone. Those who are quietly celebrating today, give thanks for hope: hope for a better future after dark times.
Best wishes,
Frank Reed
