I have one of those pads, but wouldn't use it for sight reduction. I know I'd hit that erase button accidently and lose it all before I was finished. I use paper and a pencil, but if I were to go a "Greener" route, I'd go really old school and use a slate tablet and chalk, or perhaps a small white board.
