HiTech scratchpad instead of paper&pencil?

Hello!
Would you use an LCD graphical pad (such as this, for example) as a replacement for a paper+pencil scratchpad?
The only drawback I could think of is the necessity to have a pair of these: one for HSs and timings the other for the sight reduction math. Unfortunately it is not possible to erase the screen just partially, so that the list of raw sight data remains through the whole process. Doing even an All-Haversine SR will occupy a lot of space on a screen...
