Re: How to put a mirror spring in place ?

    Dear Philippe,

If you ask about springs like here, then my experience is as follows:

    • remove the mirror from its' sitting place
    • put the screw through the spring's eye and let the screw to enter its' thread - without the mirror
    • make sure the screw has made ~2 turns in its' thread
    • take the spring by the loop near its' part that should contact the mirror, - and pulling the spring - turn the spring on the screw so it lays on the mirror box's surface near the screw
    • do this with all three springs
    • insert the mirror in its' sitting place
    • holding the spring with something soft (like a piece of sewing thread) - turn it back to the mirror's surface
    • tighten all the screws properly

    Hope that helps.

    Warm regards,
    Tony
