Dave,
The key I showed came with my Husun, and opens the box. I don’t know whether it will open other Husun boxes or allow one to start a B52. I suspect it’s more suited for an Avro Lancaster than a B52.

Was that a Hughes Key, and do you happen to know if that particular profile fits every Hughes sextant box? If so, I might have a go at making one myself from the boxes of unidentified keys around the house. Every Vulcan had a key (for the cabin door, not to wind it up), which were closely guarded until it was realised that they were all the same profile and also the same profile as a well known UK family car of the 1950s and 60s, so you could have just gone into Halfords (a nationwide UK motoring store) and bought one for yourself. How about the B52? I would have thought that deserved a Cadillac key at least. DaveP
