I was selected at random for a UK-wide Imperial College/NHS CV19 antibody survey. The test is too inaccurate for personal testing, but if all the false positives and negatives cancel out, it should provide a useful national figure. The kit included a neat little finger pricker and a small polythene pipette for those fussy about applying their fingertip to the lateral flow test directly. Not being fussy, I decided to keep the pipette and dab away with my finger. It looks as if the pipette will be perfect for placing a replacement bubbles in artificial horizon cells such as the A12. Moreover, it’ll save the embarrassment of explaining away a box of syringes and needles in my workshop. DaveP
