Dear Philippe,
I'm an armchair navigator, so I just speculate here: if one has his chronometer on UTC - then there should be no problems. Simply use the AN page per the date and time on your chronometer and convert the resulting longitude to the conventional -180°~+180° range. The key (as I see it) is to have a 24-hours chronometer face (no AM/PM madness!) and correct counter for the day of the year.
I'd be glad to hear commenst of the real CN men.
Warm regards,
Tony
