Frank, you wrote: I wonder how many people can stand on Eclipse Island? It's rather small! Is it public or private land? But what better place could there be to watch this eclipse than "Eclipse Island"??

I have been, and will again be, in contact with the town manager, Michael Ward.  I will pose your questions to him.

Frank, you also wrote: "Have you visited that little island, Jim?"

No, not yet!  But the eclipse may just be the event that will change this.

Frank, you also wrote: "It all depends on the weather. What is the average probability of clear skies on an early April afternoon in coastal Newfoundland."

Not good, Frank.  The Space.com article reported: "Although potentially a fun place to watch the eclipse, this day has been cloudy 78% of the time since 2000, according to Timeanddate.
