Got it ! Measured distance by DSLR and sextant at 37.1' from 34° 10' N 119° 14' W at PDT 20:44:49 6/29/15 ( UT 03:44:49 6/30/15 ).

Encourage your non-celestial friends to look to the west tonight between 15 and 45 minutes after sunset for a lovely view of the planets together. If you own a telescope, find them in the late afternoon sky. Two planets in daylight.. that's a nice show.
