Set at 38-00, pushed left button to start observation.
At 30 second clock time, 15 on half-time counter, turn knob to show 39-00.
After one minute clock time, 30 on the half-time counter, pushed left button to stop averager.
Stopped at 39-00
Adjust down and up until both lights stay on.
End reading showing average of 38-30.
