After watching ebay for a long time I finally found a sextant complete with mount and I snapped it up. I think it was about $200 when the sextants alone were going for about $50. So, keep watching ebay is all I can suggest.
Or, you can visit the Reagan Library in Simi Valley California where Air Force One is located. Take a tour and, when nobody is looking unbolt the sextant mount from the top of the cockpit and run, run, run!

I was a RC 135 navigator in Cold War 1980's and have purchased a sextant on eBay (readily available) but I cannot find the mount or power cords like you have anywhere. I was thinking of setting up a stationary ground level mounting like you did with power cord etc.
Any seller resource you could refer me to for the mount and power cord, etc to make a sextant work?
Thanks,
