New guy here.
I have a 28V Kollsman, and found that 3 9v batteries powers it nicely. Connect them + to - and take apart a snap-on connector to feed the lights and averager.
My sextant has another problem in that the metal bellows for the bubble chamber is cracked. From reading it appears this is a fairly common problem with these sextants. I am thinking I may be able to machine a piston with an O-ring to replace that bellows. Any thoughts on this?
