I re-posted your message tonight (as "mk.2") because I was informed by a NavList member that some portion of email recipients of NavList messages did not receive this one. Maybe only 1% missed it. Maybe 50%. In any case, I thought it was worth re-sending just to make sure. For everyone else, when Tom refers to "today", that was actuallly Saturday, September 5.
Tom, you talked about learning celestial in the 1980s. Was that at a maritime academy? Did you do sights on a school ship back then?
