Help Fellow Navigators!
I've started reading Cel Nav in GPS Age by John Karl which I like but I'm having difficulty reconciling triangle 2.4(b) on page 18 with triangle A1(b) on page 236. The page 18 diagram shows sun to the east of observer and, as LHA is measured westwards, it is shown as external angle at triangle apex. However, the page 236 triangle, which also shows sun to the east of observer, shows LHA as an internal angle at apex. Is this not a contradiction or am I missing something?
Kind regards,
Aonghus.
