At the risk of putting my foot in my mouth, the apostrophe in Zuben'ubi is of a very different nature than the one in Al Na'ir, if I understand correctly. I believe that the apostrophe in Al Na'ir is a glottal stop. The one in Zuben'ubi, though, is the (now slightly archaic IMHO) use of an apostrophe to slice out a whole buch of letters that don't fit. The full name, as I understand it, is Zubenelgenubi. I, for one, would be very sad to see Zuben'ubi so sav'ly dec'd.
