Oh, great... I tip-toed my way around answering the navigation exercise and only managed to id the location because it is (figuratively) in my back yard and I recognized the horizon line.
And now you are throwing the gauntlet again! Celestial stars to Hollywood stars...
Hmmm... Sinatra! (maybe Dean Martin?)... but in his day the hotel was, I believe, still a Holiday Inn (it is now the Saguaro Palm Springs) and def nothing special enough. A fine mystery -- and I am on it! ;-)
