I have looked at this paper Andrés, and it would take a considerable amount of concentration and effort (on my part anyway) to penetrate the archaic text and mathematical forms. So let me ask - will it be worth my time? What practical advantage does this method give over a more modern derivation that can be done in half a page of algebra...?
