Browsing through some old pieces on NavList this afternoon, and came upon your post. Regarding the 6" diameter metal slide rule you mentioned, in theory at least, it would be more accurate than your 10" K & E, the C/D scale on the circular rule being equal to an 18+" long C/D scale on a stick slide rule, correct me should I be in error.
Hope you manage to avoid coronavirus, California sounds like something of a mess.
