I have been following (a.o.) this thread about the Atlantic Crossing and read the various comments about lunars. The inspired me to do a LD sighting yesterday evening, when I saw the moon and Jupiter in a clear sky, almost begging for an LD sighting. With the evening temperatures being comfortable (again) I decided to give it a go, also using Capella (very clear in the sky).
The results are attached, including a stellarium screenshot for the time I took the sightings. Instead of getting the altitudes I used Frank's Lunar app.
The results, ie. the achieved accuracy, are quite nice, I think.
(btw: the 2 outliers are probably caused by me switching between Jupiter and Capella several times, neglecting the accuracy)
