Thank you very much Paul for running my lunar sights with your software.
Besides the calculated error by the different methods, the largest learning for me in this experience was to see the influence of the atmospheric pressure over the lunar distance calculations when the altitude of the observer is way higher than the regular sea level pressure (10,000 feet in this case).
Now, I think I should consider this effect when taking regular sights to calculate LOPs with the bubble sextant, at altitudes significantly higher than sea level.
