But disingenuous? No. Perhaps a little hyperbolic.
I found Lecky's Julius Cesear comment mentioned in a number of places. It seemed he was famous for it, so I said so.
The same is true for the Stark Tables. I found numerous references to how helpful they were, so I said so.
I remained puzzled by your irascible opinion of Murchie. He seems to have impressed everyone but his first wife and you.
