There is more. If averaging is needed then multiple observations of a PV can be made if the Hp PV altitude is adjusted for one minute of time change. The formula for this at PV is (Cos Latitude )(15') = Minutes of arc change per minute of time. See example done this morning which averages five observations. Results were very close to actual longitude.
