I recently acquired a US Navy Mark 7 Knee-Mounted Plotting Board (a/k/a pilot's knee board). It is the successor to the lap-sized WWII vintage Mk 3A Plotting Board.
I am seeking a copy or pdf file of the instruction manual which is titled "Instructions for use of the Mark 7 Knee-Mounted Chart-Plotting Board." It carries a stock number which, as best as I can make out is R88[5, 6 or 8 ?]0650-005-000 and the authorship "Aeronautical Instrument Laboratory, Naval Air Development Center, Johnsville, Pa."
I was able to find on the web very incomplete extracts from a manual titled "Air Navigation Supplement" apparently published either during WWII or shortly thereafter by US Navy Bureau of Personnel marked "NAVPERS 10824" that contains instructions for the Mk 3A polotting board, but again I am seeking a full or more complete copy.
