One of the Martelli tables in my collection has USS Arkansas with initials J.A.L. on the inside front cover so just for fun a Google search was done and to my surprise the USS Arkansas was caught on camera during the Crossroads A bomb test at Bikini Island in July of 1946. I am guessing that this was the battleships last mission.
