Who's watching? I hope that many of you have discovered this series. Masters of the Air portrays the carnage faced by US B-17 bomber crews in the air war over Europe during the Second World War. It's impressive on many dimensions. Elements of this story have been told and re-told in books and film many times, but, I would say, never better than this.
I present here a few screen captures to give you some idea of the quality and simply to show the navigator's station in a few scenes. The attention to detail is excellent. And why wouldn't it be? Among the executive producers are Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg. I have watched many aviation films and war films over the decades, and there's really nothing that compares. I recommend it.
