Intensity coming to an eye is twice that of the normal sun sight with the natural horizon.
There should be no problem whatsoever. It is recommended to check the IE (and estimate the SD) by directly measuring the Sun's diameter. Remember the Фатеев's book? At least with a СНО-Т (or СНО-М) it is perfectly safe, the shades are of proper density.
