I have postponed my workshops, previously scheduled to begin one week from today. Demand is down about 90% compared to the Spring and Summer, maybe due to "online meeting burnout", maybe because people are sick and tired of anything that reminds them of lockdown limits, maybe because potential US participants are distracted by these "interesting times" (*). Or maybe I have simply run out of people interested in celestial navigation (definitely not, but we do reach a point where it is difficult to get the word out to those who be in the market at a reasonable price).
So here's the revised Fall schedule:
Celestial Navigation in the Age of Sail: Oct. 24,25 OR Oct. 26,27,28
Lunars: Finding Longitude by Lunar Distances: Oct. 31-Nov.1 (only one session)
Modern Celestial ONE: Nov. 14,15 OR Nov. 16,17,18
Modern Celestial TWO: Nov. 21,22 OR Nov. 23,24,25

* Interesting times... That's a reference to that famous fortune-cookie curse: "may you live in interesting times!" I find that so-called Chinese curse that is not actually Chinese rather appropriate for the current state of the US. And so easily, these interesting times could become ten times more dramatic...
