My online introductory celestial navigation workshop Modern Celestial ONE: Sextants & Sun Sights starts tomorrow (Atlantic session, 11:00am Eastern US time =1600 UT, Sat/Sun) or, if it's better for your time zone or personal schedule on Monday (Pacific session, 6:00pm Eastern US time =2300 UT, M/T/W). The recommended sequel for this class is Modern Celestial TWO: Position Fixes & Star Sights which will run two weeks later. If you previously attended my single workshop (just plain "Modern Celestial Navigation"), this pair of workshops includes about 50% more material than the single stand-alone class. Contact me if you're interested in attending both of the new workshops at a reduced rate if you previously attended Modern Celestial.
Celestial Navigation in the Age of Sail (whaling era navigation, original logbooks, time sights by logarithms and all that!) starts next Saturday (Atlantic) or the following Monday (Pacific). And Lunars makes a great sequel for this workshop two weeks later.
Any of you who have attended any of my online workshops in the past twelve months, you may repeat for a small "seat fee" (only $19.95): ReedNavigation.com/Register/?disco=4242. This rate applies only to specific workshops that you have previously attended at full price or equivalent.
