Over the past several years of teaching celestial navigation, I have noticed that many students have trouble understanding the Nautical Almanac Moon Altitude Correction Tables pages xxxiv & xxxv. For my last celestial navigation class I developed an Excel worksheet (see attached file) that demonstrates how the Nautical Almanac Moon altitude correction tables are constructed.
