This is really nice. What a way to see your sight log. My only other wish would be to have a high resolution sextant telescope image capture for each sight so as to associate the view seen with the LD observed/recorded.
Quite interesting to see how the error goes back and forth, positive then negative and each time converges of the best. Of all my lunars, this set is the best. And, I admit, the whole observation setup is ideal - sextant, timer, seeing conditions and personal viewing position comfort. I can't imagine taking lunars on a pitching ship deck (unless you could sit down somewhere). These 90th century navigators were tough people.
