Ed,
We have had a nice stretch of clear calm days in the 40's, and a cooperative moon. Venus, so bright in the evening, was obscured at mid-day by the high cirrus coming in with the front. But got a few shots of the moon sun and will work those up tomorrow.
This whole lunars subject has been an eyeopener! I realize now that I've been a table-puncher in the past without really understanding the how and why. Frank's class and postings here have made me think that cel nav with calculators/ some simple programming could be learned and somewhat understood in a reasonable amount of time. But only with the help I've been getting on NavList. I can hardly even spell sexigesmimal, let alone work with them, or recall much trig but it is fun messing around with it all.
Thanks,
Jim
