I do it all the time. Easy! Jupiter is especially bright & good this summer. It is leading the moon tonight. Saturn just behind Jupiter (can’t miss it!)

Can you do a sighting of the moon at its passage on your meridean to come up with your latitude and longitude similar to a noon sight of the sun. Im guessing not because I can't find it discussed. I'm just an armchair navigator so keep it straightforward. Thanks much.
