Greg, you wrote, "and celestial plays a part". And well it should, since it's "loosely based" on real events in 1983. The film Adrift has received middling reviews from general audience reviewers who mostly complain that it's a paint-by-numbers story and also find the romance a bit melodramatic, but they like sailing and the survival story. I haven't yet heard a review from the very tough audience of sailors and sailing enthusiasts. More at Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adrift_(2018_film). I look forward to the thrilling scenes of index correction measurement and the tense drama of selecting the correct page in H.O.229. Does our navigator know the Nautical Almanac inside and out, and will she apply the v correction properly??!
