There is no need to spend a lot of money on re-silvering or buying new mirrors, especially rectangular or square ones. Perfectly adequate ones can be made of modern 4 mm mirror float glass. It is quite flat enough for our purpose. See: https://sextantbook.com/category/new-sextant-mirrors-for-old/
