The blue cover was the "commercial edition". It contained ads, and I believe it was slightly less expensive than the non-commercial orange cover version. The orange version used to be hard-cover. I'm not sure if the blue cover edition is even available anymore, now that the orange cover is less expensive and soft-cover.
