Another comment on the nautical Almanac for 2023.

On 28 September 2033 I mailed an order to the Government printing Office (GPO) for the 2023 Almanac and included my check for the requisite amount.

The check cleared my bank on 5 October 2022.

I have not received my Almanac nor a refund.

So, on 2 February 2023 I sent a letter to the Office of Inspector General of the GPO outlining my problem, no book – no refund.

I also sent a copy of my letter to each of my US Senators and my Congressman.

I heard from my Congressman about a week ago.

On Friday, the 24^th, I received a telephone call from the Office of Inspector General (OIG) of the GPO to let me know they were researching my problem.

On Saturday, the 25^th, a letter arrived from one of my US Senators letting me know that his office was in contact with the OIG of the GPO about my problem.

If you want answers sometimes you have to go to the top.

Now the OIG not only has to deal with me, but they also have to keep 2 Senators and 1 Congressman in the loop!
