I can recommend the next RIN free webinar ‘Navigating the Royals’ by Captain Peter Chapman-Andrews LVO, MBE, RN on Thursday 18th March 2021 at 18.45 UTC, because Peter gave this talk a few years ago at my local RIN Branch. Among the many ships Peter navigated during his naval career were arguably the two with the most recognisable names in the Royal Navy, HMS Ark Royal and HM Royal Yacht Britannia
His light-hearted talk, which is liberally illustrated, will describe his experiences in these two ships, the different challenges that each presented, and the programmes they undertook while he was on board, which included encountering such natural wonders as the Great Barrier Beef and the River Amazon.
