By the way, Bill Morris has also written a document specific to the SNO-T (I hope he doesn't mind my mentioning it here). The title is "The SNO-T Sextant (with notes on the Freiberger Drum sextant)", subtitled "Construction, repair, and maintenance"; 70 pages. I've found it very useful when making substitute parts for my partial SNO-T (which is not finished yet!). Might be able to order a copy through sextantbook.com.
