Hi All,
I came across this board looking for info on celestial navigation. I started learning navaigation techinques while working towards my rank of Eagle Scout in the Boys Scouts many years ago.
Later on started sailing professionally and learned celestial navigation aboard the SSV Corwith Cramer (Sea Education Association).
My hobbies include amateur radio (KB1HQS) and ultralight backpacking. I'm a lifelong student of land and celestial navigation especially as it pertains to natural and emergency (expedient) navigation tools & techniques.
I just picked up a WNDSN Telemeter to play around with and am interested to see how it works out.
Anyhow, just wanted to say I am glad to find a place where others are interested in nvagitaion techniques as well.
