Here is the Sun time sight reduction done on a folded index card using the Otis King slide rule with four place natural sin cos tables as per Francis Upchurch.

Date: 2018 Mar 12, 08:11 -0700Attached are time sight reductions and a Sumner plot for the recently posted Sun Moon observations. I attempted to plot as Frank described on graph paper. It seems to work. For Jeremy to get a Sumner line down on the electronic chart I would try entering Sumner lats/lons as way points with resulting course tracks crossing for a fix. Probably easier to use graph paper and then just enter the position as a fix.
